Due to covid-19, the committee was unable to collect/count the donation in the box. Today, our members assisted by PHP staff, began counting the notes in the box. A total of RM14,000/= was collected.

There's a need for every student to have a laptop to work on academic assignments nowadays.
Mr. Tan Lye Choon, a hawker has an old tablet and this has been shared by his three school-going children (ages 10-16) for their school online lessons. At times, the children faced great difficulties sharing. Mr. Tan is aware and has no means to provide their children a laptop. He appealed to LCGTM for assistance.
Today, LCGTM presented to one of Mr. Tan's children, Miss Tan Ke Xin, Form 4 student SMK Convent Dato Kramat, a laptop.

"The Alpha Leo Club of SM Sacred Heart carried out a project at Relau Charis Home, Pulau Betong on 28/12/2021. The Leos help the elderlies with groceries they bought and gave to the Charis Home. They chatted to the old folks and spent some time communicating with bedridden residents." Leo Advisor Joyline Chai reported.
After a hard day's work on the environment project, the Lions were rewarded by good food. The Lions were taken by surprise with the variety of delicious spread on the table. PP Lilly Teoh thanked the Lions for participating in the Club's Environment Project; not forgetting CP Danny and Meng Yik for their homemade tasty fried beehoon and mouth-watery snack and dessert.
CP Danny said nothing brings people together but good food.
Besides trees, it is known that vegetable gardens benefit the environment in many ways. Locally grown vegetables reduce carbon emissions from burning fossil fuels. All plants act as highly effective air cleaners, absorbing carbon dioxide, plus many air pollutants while releasing clean oxygen and fragrance.
On 19/12/2021, Lions of George Town Mutiara armed with pots and vegetable/fruit seedlings carried out a planting marathon.
At the end of the day, the importance of sustainability in growing a community garden was ingrained in all of us."
This environment project is going to springboard a bigger project in the making as it incites in all of us how crucial it is to make fresh produce accessible to families and communities and in promoting healthier lifestyles for all. I hope GTM Lions will once again rise to the occasion to impact our community through this environment project.
Reported by Club Chairperson for Environment, PP Lilly Teoh.

On 10/5/2022, by 3.30pm about 50 homeless and urban poor were already in the queue waiting to collect the meals outside the Kechara Soup Kitchen Centre. Soon the crowd gathered and we started distributing the hot meals at 4.00pm. Besides an exchange of the 'thank you' signs, there were also exchanges for smiles behind the masks. The distribution was orderly carried out. LCGTM appreciates the assistance of the KSK volunteers.

On 8/5/2022 (Sunday), three Lions, namely CP Danny, PP Samantha, and myself presented to the family of Ong Lai Hock with the foodstuff.
Later we proceeded to meet Mrs. Cheow at the usual place in Relau.
President Lily thanked Fellow Lions for their support and attendance during the 12th Regular/BOD Meeting. She reported that the club has continued to carry out community services without fail. She hopes to see more rookie Lions attending the club meetings.
“No matter whether you are new or an old team member, you need time to adjust to one another,” says Leo Yao Ming.
It was a memorable day for the Leo Club of Sacred Heart High School as they conducted the Regular cum Election Meeting physically. I saw the excitement and the sheer joy from the Leos as they met each other in person. The Leos were no more strangers. They spoke freely. I could see that every moment spent together feels new and exciting for them.
Leo President Eddy Sim called the meeting to order and conducted an Ice-Breaking game. All the Leos participated actively and I complimented the leadership of the president and fellow Leos. President Eddy then conducted the election meeting. Leo Lee Ai Shuang was elected and together with her Board of Directors. It was a good team and I know she can bring the club to higher level and this will keep the Flag of Leo Club of Sacred Heart High School flying high and proud.
Congratulations to our Leo Clubs on their incredible success. ..
